Do it Yourself

do it yourself
  1. Our faux art consultant meet with you and/or your interior designer at your home. At the meeting she will listen to you and discuss theme, style, surface, color scheme, lighting, and the room.
  2. Together we will come up with a tangible understanding of what you have in mind and what will work for the room in question.
  3. Your faux art consultant will ask you questions to evaluate your art and painting skills. These questions will help the faux art consultant to develop a DIY technique procedure. All you need is the enthusiasm to learn. Projects are tailored to you. The reward of doing something yourself is very gratifying.
  4. We will give you an estimate covering concept panel, development of techniques, and mentorship.
  5. We will ask you for a 50% deposit. We will then proceed with the panel and development of techniques for you. This part takes a lot of time and resources because now we are developing a failsafe technique for the apprentice to perform. These are not the techniques you will find in a class. It will be teaching you the basics of art, taking into consideration your strengths and weaknesses.
  6. When the concept panel is complete, we will set up a meeting for you to approve the panel.
  7. After approval of the concept panel we will set up estimated mentorship times for the faux art consultant to be there while you are doing the project. At this point, you will begin to implement the techniques. The consultant will be there to correct any errors in you technique and give hints on how to get the look you want.
  8. You are not alone in this venture. Creative Walls 101 will be there to make sure you get it right!
